Prepress

We willingly accept open documents or print-ready pdfs and on this page you will find information that correct guides you through the design and sending of your Spreadcard. To the right can you download templates and a design guide as well as different files and options.

PDF
We willingly accept PDF. Remember we need to have separate PDFs for the cover and signature. Today we are fully PDF-based, which means all the material we handle is or is produced in the 100 % assured PDF format. If you are already using PDF, you can download the job options files to set up Distiller correctly or instructions how to produce PostScript files.

ICC
In order to receive optimal quality with image separation and proofing you should use our ICC profiles. We have two standard profiles, one for coated and one for uncoated paper.

Colours
All colours not used should be removed from the document. The colours printed in 4-colour must be CMYK separated. The colours to be printed as spot colours must be produced as spot colours. This also includes illustrations made for example in Illustrator or Freehand.

Images
All images should be high resolution, i.e. 260–350 dpi. Images are delivered CMYK separated with our ICC profiles. The profiles for coated and uncoated paper can be downloaded below.

Typefaces
If typefaces other than those available in Adobe Font Folio have been used, these typefaces should be included.

Physical transfer
You can post a CD or ZIP disc directly to our production in Lidköping or by courier to our office in Stockholm. The address are listed you under contact.

Remember
- Separate documents for the cover and signature
- 3 mm bled-off for both the cover and signature
- Everything outside of the printing space must be removed
